This artwork was born out of the desire to solely focus on the hand of our Lord, the very hand that touched and healed, turned water into wine, multiplied the loves of bread, the very hand that helped St. Joseph with carpentry is now the same human hand of flesh and blood which was chosen to bear our sins, our inequities, flesh hanging, profusely bleeding.
Jesus took upon Himself the punishment of our sins, setting us free from all blame and shame.
How privileged are we to have a God who chose to give His life for us, fully knowing that we are only human and it is our human nature to falter.
